Hi all, I've got a K2/100 that was damaged a while back in a close lightning strike. Sparky came in via the phone lines, traversed my modem into a multi-port RS-232 controller. It took out several RS-232 devices, including the serial port on the K2. All other K2 functions have been

Hi all, I had trouble checking into a local RTTY net the other night. It appears that on 80m RTTY, I'm transmitting about 1.3 KHz above where I'm receiving. RIT, XIT split are off. I don't know if this affects other bands or modes, since I mainly chase DX am operating split anyway. :)

Hi Ron, The masking material is the pieces of tape, usually green, around each hole. I found a sharp case cutter edge was necessary to remove it. You should have nice, shiny bare metal around the holes on the inside of each panel. That will make sure you get good RF shielding. The rest of
