I haven’t seen this on any macOS browser (Safari, Chrome or Firefox) or Firefox on Windows 10 on the Elecraft site on at least two different networks. I would recommend checking that your router or computer wasn’t compromised.

I’m still more of an audio professional than an accomplished ham, so I’ll ask while the thread is hot - why does ham gear use non-standard interconnects? Why don't Elecraft and others move to 3-pin XLR? Honestly, the bottom of my mic cabinet is probably overkill for ham, but the fact I have to

I second that. Lifelong Mac user. I have a cheap Windows laptop I only use for ham and games. I nuked the drive, installed a fresh, legal copy of Windows 10 and don’t use that computer to surf or watch videos or music. I don't download ANYTHING other than ham stuff, OS updates, and games from

Thanks everyone! Larry's was great, quickly actionable advice. I’ll do this the next time I go out. I don’t have a shack, and am still hunting around for a spot where I can try some of the other great suggestions (that I can fit in my backpack and if I actually find a spot where I can string up

That’s very cool. I’m going to try running the PX3 and KX3 off a 12Ah Bioenno battery and a Powerpole distribution adapter. Maybe I’ll get rid of the internal batteries on the KX3. > On Sep 1, 2016, at 2:27 PM, Bill wrote: > > Ed, Thank you for the information. Makes we want

I vote for Feature 1, having recently acquired a PX3. I run an SDRPlay with various software radio UIs on my laptop and having the PX3 outputting VGA (or DisplayPort perhaps) would probably simplify my setup by replacing the laptop with a flatscreen monitor. > On Aug 26, 2016, at 9:15 AM,
