K2 issue: I was programming PF2 to set INP to Hand, which works fine BUT somehow the Fast Play got turned on. I have read through the manual several times and I can't figure out how to turn Fast Play off so in the mean time I've lost the primary switch funtions that Fast Play takes over. How

Thanks to those of you who responded with various suggestions. I'm going to go ahead and order the KNB2 and see if that does the job. I suspect the noise might be coming from a nearby medical facility (hospice) and being transmitted down the power lines. Even if the NB doesn't solve this

On the 40M band only I'm getting an S7 pulse noise during much of the day making 40M nearly unusable. Most nights I don't hear it but last night it was just as bad as during the day. The pulse's are approx. 30hz and short in duration. My antenna is a vertical (my only option here). I would

I'm nearing completion of my new KPA100 and running the resistance tests (manual page 43) which are just prior to the final few steps and the last item on that list is diode D13 which is supposed to be 10K. However I get 8.5 K measured with two different meters. Every test up to this point

[Elecraft] [K2] 30m problem new build

I'm at the final stage of test and alignment of my new K2, sn 6687 and I can not get the 30m band working. Tests and alignments on all the other bands are OK. After successfully completing the 20m tests which includes good reception and 10w output I am unable to get L8 and L9 to peak on 30m.
