On my K3 and P3 to solve an initial comms problem with my software and
the P3 I set the computer to P3 speed to half that of the fixed P3 to K3
speed. Helped get rid of some glitches that actually went away later
when flrig 1.2 came out.
Elecraft also was helping debug the
Mixing communication speeds was exactly what Elecraft said do do with
the symptoms I was having. it worked fine. Still does. But if you turn
off the P3 relays connect the lines between the two RS232 so would fail
then. Works so well have not bothered to switch the computer to P3
speeds back to
