I've read the archives and see Joe Subich's, W4TV, recommendations. Using the
E980297 cable from the K3s to the P3 and then a y cable from the P3 to connect
with computer and CAT control to the Acom 2000a RCU. Anyone else have any

Well interesting discussion. I live in the city and have considerable noise on
the bands and a noise blanker update to the SVGA would be very helpful. Being
able to scroll up and down the monitor like MMTTY with a time stamp would make
the P3 much more useful for digital modes. Being able to

I have been using West Mountain Radio COM spkr for amplified stereo speakers
for the K3. They work wonderfully and there is absolutely no rfi with
transmitting with the K3 and amplifier at 1 KW. I highly recommend them.

For what it's worth, I noticed some power-on noise with my K3 which was
really no big deal but after I installed the AF Stage Mods the power-on

On AM the 13 and 6 Khz filters work ok but with the 2.7 Khz filter a very
narrow 200 filter choice appears in the filter screen and the audio is
distorted. Anyone else notice this?

used a linear amplifier on AM with the K3. I've never operated AM and I
vaguely remember that the power levels are different on AM than SSB. My
amplifier is a Acom 1000. I would be interested in any suggestions. Best
