You've GOT to be kidding! Those ICOM radios are vastly inferior to either the K3 or KX3. Perhaps you'd be satisfied if your only operation is casual ragchewing, but not for anything challenging. The only thing "future" about the 7300 is that it's a new way to make a cheap radio. :) 73, Jim
