Hi all,
The K-Line and KX-Line transceivers have been used in many DXpeditions. We'd
like to put together a complete list of these for an upcoming edition of the
Elecraft newsletter. We have information on most of them, but not all.
If you know of DXpeditions that featured Elecraft gear,
Do any of you new K3s owners have one of my
DXpedition K3 cases with the foam end cap kit?
If so, do the end caps fit the K3s OK? I don't think
there are any differences that would impact the fit
of the front or back end caps, but I'd like to conform
this.
Thank you, and ...

This is a little old from your post, but they are very active [4-digit

You don't have to do anything to DM780 to work RTTY split - set it

Help:
Worked them on cw on 80, 40, 30 since Thursday. They had a big signal
on 80 here in Colorado and good signal on other bands.
My rig K3 to a minimal vertical set of parallel, mostly shortened
vertical dipoles, short inverted L on 80.

They should be workable, Don. I struck out the entire first week with my
100 W and vertical in Colorado. But now the crowd is thinning out nicely.
Worked them on 17, 20, 30 and 40 within the past 5 days. The 30 and 40
contacts were within an hour yesterday. The new Cameroon DXpedition should

**Great Deals on Dell Laptops. Starting at $499.
I don't know about the Acer, but I'm using an eeePC 901 and it works
pretty well. The only problem was that the Elecraft-provided Prolific
USB adapter overran LP-Bridge, but a FTDI-based serial port took care
