I was on my deck today with the KX1 and the bands were really bad here. I was trying a Par 40/20 end fed antenna on top of a new Jackite 28-foot windsock pole. I called CQ near 7040 anyway and a VE3 came back to me. No big deal, but he was on SSB! We had a nice QSO for about 20 minutes. I
