K1 Band Filter Boards for sale.
I have a new, unopened, unbuilt 2 band (17 and 15 meter) filter board kit plus
a wired and tested 2 band 40 and 20 meter board for sale. When I got the K1
from an individual who hadn't built it, it came as a 2 band (40 20) radio.

The firmware of the K1 front panel PIC hasn't changed since January 2001
(version 1.09), which would be earlier than K1 serial 589.

Doing some shack simplification, and have decided to sell my K1. This rig
has been a joy to use on my infrequent portable operations, but I'm loosing
interest in the portable scene since working out an effective antenna setup
here in spite of the HOA restrictions.
The K1 is in mint condition
I acquired #589 as an unfinished kit last year. When I got it, I
discovered missing and misplaced components, incorrectly wound toroids,
and an area of the RF board with the traces burned off. Instead of
fixing this can of worms, I ordered a new RF board and components from
Elecraft. I rebuilt
I have a K1 S/N 741 for sale It has the 4 band board installed, and
the original 2-band board with it. It also
has a case with the foam cut out for it to ride in, Also included are a
homemade version of the MP-1 multi-band antenna with some counterpoise
wires and weights for them. Also
I believe I may have blown Q7, the PA. When I measure the resistance with it
still mounted on the board it shows 0 ohms to ground on all three pins. Does
this sound like the PA is gone?
