Is there a Memory/Menu Management Program available for the K3 ?
Something like the one that HB9ZS makes for the Yaesu Radios.

I know there is the K3 Memory Editor for Windows with .NET, but I am
curious about the commands used to read and write the memories to the
K3. The Programmer's Guide is mum on this only offering the MC command
to read which memory is in use or set a specific memory channel. What I

Are you looking at the K3 Programmer's Reference Rev C13?
That version shows the MCnnn command to be either a GET or a SET. I
have not tried it, but it does not seem to be limited to reading only
the memory in use. The 'nnn' value gets more complicated if you are
trying to retrieve
I am brand new K3 owner, unless I have missed something in all my research,
cannot find a program to manage memory via the PC. I surely hope I am wrong,
currently using a TS-480, the Kenwood utility is simple and does a great job
of running the radio via the PC including uploading downloading

Suggest you look at the Kenwood control program RCP-570 for the TS-480. In
addition to memory management, it makes it very easy to control the radio in
addition to filter management and IF shift, DSP control, etc.
