Recently rearranged the operating position in my shack. Now when operating JT65 or F8 I can activate transmit button but it "motorboats" when I try to turn it off. I need to hit the XMIT button to turn it off. I must have a cable in the wrong position. Can anyone point me in the right

I have seen this topic posted but I guess I missed the corrective measure(s). My K3 has the latest update and the AGC still just turns off for no reason, even when it is just sitting there in receive mode. Yes we are using HRD and the version we have is 5.11 build 3209. Any additional feedback

Bill If you install Lpbridge which is a port sharing utility which sits between the K3 and up to 5 applications wanting to communicate with the radio, then the problem will disappear! It looks daunting to set up, but in reality it's easy. Problem solved! 73 Stephen G4SJP On 30 April 2012

[Elecraft] K3 Not Turning Off

My K3 will no longer turn off. The LEDs on the front panel won't go off, and all the lettering on the Liquid Crystal Display will disappear but the LCD will still be backlit. I've traced it down to the 15pin accessory plug; all I have attached to it is a 1 transistor keying circuit to key FSK
