Mine went well too. I updated to the latest version first. I did charge for
about 4 hours and the 2400 mah NiMH came up to 11.7 vdc. The next day I went to
charge again just to see, and the charger posted an err which was because the
battery voltage was already high I believe. That err occurs
After installing the KXBC3 charger board I get in A VFO d=002 B VFO
ERR BC3 when trying to enter the time. Firmware is 1.22. Tried
re-seating the board and re-installed firmware, but didn't fix the
error. The hour digit blinks once and while turning A VFO is when the
error occurs. Wondering
This pretty much has to be a firmware bug at the MCU. So far we
haven't been able to duplicate it, but we'll dig into it first thing
tomorrow.

I installed mine tonight, added the standoff and lock washer from the
original board. All went well, no error message time was kept, I was
already charged so I didn't try a charge cycle..

Maybe that is why mine isn't working, I didn't install the spacer and lock
washer..just kidding. I did notice there is no resistor at R14, just 2 solder
pads.
