Guy's..! Apologies again for this "OT" enquiry....
Wondering if anyone can help with this one... A local ham friend...has just
bought one of the afore mentioned radio's privatley....
there seems to be a problem with the rig on one of the HF bands (15m I
think..although not certain..), where the rig exibits a problem with some
sort of
"audio feedback" problem when transmitting... Reports from other ham's
...say..."..the rig sounds as if there is either feedback of sorts...
or a "scratchy" sound "distorting" the transmitted audio" ....the local ham
tells me that these reports "seem" only to be occuring on 15m...
with all other bands being "as is"...
Wondering..does anyone have a copy of the "Service Manual" for this radio,
..that they would like arrange something with me..to allow
my friend to be able to maybe track down the problem...
