Tom, The local SCS modem expert is Lewis Thompson, W5IFQ here at ARL. email him at the adr I will send, for info on the interfacing of the SCS. He has successfully interfaced them to the little 5 watt Yaesu radio, I know. I think it is pretty straightforward to interface the SCS to anything.

We used a PTCPro with a K2 on the T33C trip, and the radio and modem worked just fine for log uploads. I've also used my PTC-IIe with my K2/100 with the EA3BLQ mod to make a 6pin digital mode mini-Din attachment point. I wired it such that it matches the equivalent mini-DIN on the FT-817 and
