[Elecraft] TX/RX on vfo B with SUB rx?

Is it possible to use vfo B to set both the tx and rx freq? I've got an idea about using the IF output for mult. searching, which would require using VFO B to set tx/rx using the sub rx.Alternately can I get to the IF output from the SUB RX? Mark n2qt
