Bob, I don't see how that shift could be coming from the XV144. Its local oscillator is running on the same frequency during receive and transmit. I would check the K3 28 MHz output to see if the same thing occurs. A guess -- It could be a mode thing. If the others are operating with CW in

Assuming the jumper on your XV144 is set for TRN2, that is where you should change the OFS to give you the correct transmit frequency. For what it's worth, my K2 OFS is set to -1.32 but yours will most certainly be different depending on the precise frequency of the XV144 crystal. 73 de David

There are internal attenuator adjustments in your transverter. You might want to pop the cover and see what you got. It should easily get up to 20W out with the 1 mW drive, assuming you have the right internal input settings. That is what I use here also, 1mW drive. Since your wattmeter is

Bob, I use the XV144 here w/ my K3, and my Config:xvtr power is set to L1.00, and that will easily drive the XV144 power LED's into the red. I suspect the issue is not with your K3 settings, but rather with the jumpers inside the XV144 and the setting of R22 that acts as an input attenuator.
