I sometimes plug my YH77ST headsets into my PC phones out, which is stereo, and put a music CD in the drive and listen to some great stereo music. I don't know about the 20Khz upper response but the highs and lows I hear are quite high fidelity. Certainly much broader than the 100-5000HZ.
