Elecraft Kool Aid contains a high percentage of Elcohol; hence that fellow's
misspelling/poor grammar ( Crag's List, have drank) that detracted from my
otherwise humorous enjoyment of his post.

However, as used here, it seems to mean that one has become a believer in
Elecraft products. In early usage there was an implication of absolute, blind,
loyalty, but that seems to have fallen off given the open and technical
discussions. Perhaps it now implies educated loyalty when used
I'm not sure but I think the reference is to Jonestown, Guyana. Jim
Jones had blind followers in the end thy all drank KOOL AID. Hence
it's derogatory connotation.

It was made in large quantities, like a pitcher, and was less expensive
per ounce/glass than soda/pop.

Believe it or not, I found my anti-static mat at Amazon.com
Cost I believe was less than 25 dollars. Mat is of good quality as well.
