I've only had my K-3 for less than two weeks and I am no contester by any
means. In fact, I am a rather little pistol. But I must say that I find
the K-3 absolutely amazing. Compared to my Orion II it is much quieter. I
keep discovering new and unique features every day. I also can't imagine
anyone selling a K-3 except for financial reasons. I suppose some folks
simply get tired of staring at the same radio and try something new. If
they do, I think they may regret it. At this point, my main wish is for a
nice pan adapter which I do find useful on my ICOM 756 Pro and on the Orion
II, although, the pan adapter on that radio could stand some improvement.

This is a super-long posting about the wpx contest by WC1M. You can
read it all (impressive) or just scroll (and scroll and scroll) down
to the bottom and read the last full paragraph. Pretty cool!

To those selling their K3s for other than financial reasons...check
your compass.
