wish I was a Ham back in 1957. I guess it was enough to be born in

Folks,
Just an addendum to the announcement. I have received a couple e-mails
on something that I guess I did not make sufficiently clear. This is
not only a QRP operating award; it IS an Elecraft operating award. All
you good people out there with K2/100's are also eligible for this.

S2 - S4 with only about S5 before a thunderstorm? I think that's pretty
good, Terry. Last night, just monitoring 40 Meters while puttering
around in the shack, I had an S2 - S3 level. It would get worse from
time to time. I think somebody in the neighborhood had an air
conditioner compressor

I have used the KComm telephone filters with great success. The other
option you don't mention is to change brands of telephone. When I was
having problems, it was with a Bell South portable. The KComm filter
cleared up the problem. When the phone eventually gave up the ghost, I
