I just built my second K2. This one is for QRP using the internal battery.
The other one is my QRO home station version. I hated tearing everything up

Since I now have a pile of old Elecraft PIC chips I got to wondering if they
can be erased and reused? I know they have code protection that protects
them from being read. But I wonder if they can be erased and reused?
I am probably dreaming. :)

I am trying to add new DSP filter features to my K2 control software, Marote,
on Linux. I just added the new DSP module to my K2 #1974. So I had to play
with it more.
I cannot get SW80 and SW81 to do anything.
I want to turn on the DSP NR mode.
I am able to cycle through the various DSP
I did some experimenting. Here are my results.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Obtain a male to male 1/8 stereo cable. And a jumper clip cable.
2. Plug one end of stereo cable into the KX1. Make sure KX1 is in hand key
mode.
3. On the other end of the stereo cable, short the center of a stereo plug
