[Elecraft] K3/10 OUTPUT POWER

2007-07-03 Thread Dale Parfitt
I have one of the new SPE Expert amps on order: http://www.linear-amp.com/ It requires 20W of drive for full output. Can one of the knowledgeable K3 designers/testers comment on nominal Po from 160--6M? Tnx, Dale W4OP ___ Elecraft mailing list

I've been seeing about 14-15 watts but have not checked on 6m yet. Will do so this evening and report back. So far every contact has reported a very nice clean signal. Excellent CW note and audio quality using the 2.8 kHz filter for SSB TX. The TX EQ really makes a difference as well.
