One more try at K6JSS/7 this morning. Starting at 1500z I will skip
across a few bands and see who I can find. I will try 7030 or 7040 today
to see if that area elicits more contacts than does 7060 kHz. 14060 kHz
seems to provide 90% or more of my contacts so I will spend more time
Eleven more contacts in my hour of effort this morning. 40, 20, and 15
meters each gave me contacts. 15 was noisy but I got one Ohio station
through just fine. Forty meters was the workhorse band though. It was
fun to put in an hour a day this week. Now I have to wait for another 25
I will be on the air again starting at 1500z
I will alternate between 7060 and 14060 khz.
I will try 21060 kHz a couple times too just to see if the sun has opened
it again.
See you in a few minutes if you want Oregon.

Bands were not as good today. Weaker signals, lots of QSB, and QRN was
high. The sun acted up and now things are noisy. But I worked four
bands: forty, thirty, twenty, and fifteen meters alternating through them
for an hour. Got six stations all on twenty meters. I will try again
