Wow!  Those of us from a certain era built our stations from parts scrounged from discarded television sets using designs handed down by amateur ancestors and our mentors.  Most of the TV sets came from behind the local Radio/TV repair shop, not the town dump, but they were in the "free pile."  That would make us the most interesting hams in the world??  Some of us are even still alive.
