Hans, If you like the K1, just wait till you build and use the K2 .. Fantastic radio. I've used both the K1 and K2, and they are both absolutly the best in their class. Have only seen the KX1, but have not had a chance to operate one yet. Having too much fun working DX from Kansas with my K2 @ 5 watts. Best so far is Japan on 160 meters.
