reverse run is the only change Phill has done to the core code and he keeps

So there is not really any excuse to leave Reverse run out. Get it done

The collective wisdom of many over a few short years puts this at the top

I had a quick look with grep and I could not see anywhere in classicladder
that these variables were referenced aside from the procedures directly
following.
Seems odd that they are declared as a global scope and not local to the
procedures that use them.

release version there are significant barriers to entry for users. Please
move forward to release 2.8 on PREEMPT_RT. If RTAI eventually makes the

Neither of them worked for my hardware. The vast majority of users must
surely be in my camp by now. We simply want V 2.8 to be the distribution
version because we want to be forward looking not constrained by
compatibility with old and obsolete systems.

Well I have a bug on the table trying to extend State tags to include arc
radius. Everything runs but I get an application error window when I open
halshow. Any guidance appreciate
projects I've spent a lot of money on recently customising them.
Heck even Ghostscript has a commercial arm..

pins that publish all of the available tags would be a useful enhancement
and make the State tags actually useful!
But I'm still looking for a developer to do the hard stuff!

Really, the non compliant HTML docs should be removed and bought in line
with the Linuxcnc authoring environment regardless of how obsolete our
standards are. There is no place for making exceptions to suit one author.
The standard should only change if its applied across the board.

Where is the benefit though?
There was a time with 8 bit and 16 bit CPU's floating point should be
ignored wherever possible but now it's pretty hard to even find a 32 bit
PC. Everything is 64 bit
So with current architecture, there is no benefit in worrying about this at
all.
