hi,
servomotors cost much money. i looked at the steppermotor ST4209X1004
http://de.nanotec.com/schrittmotor_st4209.html (perhaps this site is
also in english available) but has only a torque of 0.15Nm, but a
holding-torque of 17N/cm.
As Kent said, Taig tabletop mill in CNC form ships with

No, the PSU connects to the stepper motor drives. (the 7i76 is optional, you
could connect the drives direct to the 5i25, but the 7i76 adds protection,
spindle control and extra GPIO.

hi,
i want to use linuxcnc with my proxxon mf70. I still looked at the

What is a good (good supported) controller-interface (pci-card, usb,etc) ?

LinuxCNC doesn't support any USB interfaces for machine control (there is
support for human-machine USB interfaces)
For stepper motors the Parallel port is
hi,thanks for answer,
I think you really need to give more details. Are you leaning more to
steppers
or servos? i am new to cnc, dont know the differences for cnc? or in price? Do you want software control of spindle speed? Yes, because its a mini-cnc maschine, which could damage elseDo you

You will almost always need separate power electronics drivers, either step/dir
