Let me see if I understand this product. It is a telephone like device that is solely intended to be connected to the USB port of a PC and it is not intended to be connected to the telephone network. If this is true, then no telephone standards, regulations or directives apply.

Ilan, 1.) Part 68 has hearing aid compatibility and volume control requirements that are independent of whether or not the phone connects directly to the PSTN. 2.) Regarding the RTTE directive, meet the essential requirements of the EMC and the LVD directives and you're good to go. Regards,
