I have noticed this behavior as well, but I think the issue is the way in which you tell E17 to remember the properties of that window. After some examination and research, I have found that if I tell E17 to remember the window properties (ie border style) using a certain method such as:

I know I may be considered lazy, but are there any rpms for e17 on 64 bit architecture ? I really like Didier's repo for e17, but I am running into troubles with my new 64 bit notebook. Off topic, but can I install simultaneous 32 and 64 bit libraries (xine-lib specifically)? I wouldn't mind
