I have the same problem with my svn build. I am running this on a ARM/tegra2 platform on framebuffer without compositing. My computer is a Toshiba AC100, running Ubuntu 12.04 armhf. Unfortunately this makes e17 unusable on this computer. CPU usage goes up to 100%, when hiding my bottom shelf
