I am having trouble with connecting to Earthlink ISP via dialup modem.
To debug the problem I tried using Ethereal but the interface does not
show in the list of interfaces available. How do I setup the interface
so that I can see what is going on my PPP connection? I am running
Red Hat Linux 8 with a hardware modem. The modem connection fails
during Config-Request message.
