I know that with on premises exchange – a DPT or RPT tag will apply both to the primary mailbox and to the archive. Is this true in a hybrid environment?
Here is my issue. I have number of mailboxes that are huge (think 100g+). We wish to archive the contents of these mailboxes – to store like forever –to EOA in a hybrid environment. Then, we would like to change in the future to setup retention polices to remove email older than 180 days from the primary mailboxes for ongoing email once the migration to EOA of all that old data is completed.. But, we do NOT want the old messages in the EOA do be removed when we do this. That, we wish to just retain forever (kinda). Does EOA have retention policies that will apply to Just the EOA archive, and not to the primary mailbox? ________________________________ This message and any attachments are intended only for the use of the individual or entity to which they are addressed.
