Nothing lagged , single server environment, checking logs


Backup software indicates successful backup - all databases  on test restore  
are complete including the non-truncated logs



will follow up with log results

Does replication show normal for all databases?



Have you examined the ESE and Backup messages in the event log immediately 
after the backup completes?

Check that you are not short on disk space for the drives  whose stores are not 
backing up
