Hi,

One idea might be to send bounces and only bounces from a different

Is there an acl which can examine the From: name?
It seems that the term sender refers only to the envelope sender,
but I am unsure if it isn't ambiguous and has different meanings
in different ACLs (acl_smtp_rcpt / acl_smtp_data)
What I am trying to do is reject emails where the sender (spammer
Hi there,
I am trying to create a negation for a host list. If I understand
correctly, multiple items on a line are ³OR² together.
Hosts = !+host_list1 : !+host_list2
If I understand correctly again, I am setting up a resultant NAND function
by negating the two lists that are ³OR² together.
Hi folks,
I am having a little issue which I am struggling to pin down.
Essentially my copy of exim has the followind router and transport:
#Router Begin
static_route:
driver = manualroute
transport = remote_smtp_smart
route_data = ${lookup{$domain}lsearch{/etc/staticroutes}}
Hi Phil,
when I try
exim -bt test@110.1.1.1
I get
R: smarthost for test@110.1.1.1
test@110.1.1.1
router = smarthost, transport = remote_smtp_smarthost
host x.x.x.x [x.x.x.x]
(the server is intended as a filter in front of our main mail server)
Thanks

Yes, acl_smtp_data. Remember that the RFC822/2822/5322 headers come in
as part of the message body, after the DATA verb. So in acl_smtp_rcpt,
you haven't yet seen the From: header.
Also, note

This avoids blacklisting of the interface/IP used to send all other
normal mail.
That is a decent way of mitigating the risks, but I
