The kernel can do this.
cd /usr/src/linux
make menuconfig - block devices - multiple device driver support
I never used this, read the docu ;-)

How can I convert mp3 files to wav files?
Use "mpg123 -w filename.wav filename.mp3".
Try "mpg123 --longhelp" for more information.

Hi!
Yesterday I installed LM6.1 and LM7.00 on the same system with changable (same)
hd's. The LM6.1 installation (full) lasts 7:21 minutes. Installing a full
LM7.00 lasts over 50 minutes on this system.
Why are there such big differences in copying the files to disk???

I need to make some small changes in order to install the system on a - very

Hi!
Can someone tell me where to find the sources of the install routines of LM? I

Compiling the xscreensaver package works - the opengl stuff of these
screenhacks like gears/sproingies etc. work fine and accelerated. But if I try

Hi!
I've a "Intel PRO/100 CardBus II" pcmcia card. Tried a lot, but can't get it
running (LM 6.1/7.0, played with the pcmcia tools). It is not recognized

Has someone experiences with this card? Any chance to get it running in Linux?
