Well, case somebody know as to activate the > lock in a OpenBSD I'm thankful. I had the same probelm. I solved it by changing the mount options of the home directory in /etc/fstab on the client computer to: yourservername:/home /home nfs rw,rsize=8192,wsize=8192,hard,defaults,intr,nolock 0 0 Then Gome2 worked like a charm.
