l'apposito tool succede che l'HD comincia a frullare e dopo qualche secondo
il PC completamente ingolfato e devo resettare(Addirittura!).
Il problema credo che sia dovuto a RPM visto che i file

solved it by adding the kernel option

to the install where ide1 was my cdrom. It turns out that the cdrom-ide

Ok, I fixed it. I guess what happened was that when I hard reset the pc and ran the
e2fsck those 'fixed' inodes deleted /sbin/klogd , /sbin/syslogd , /sbin/hdparm and
/sbin/lilo. I guess from Cecil's comment that the two logd's were the culprit. Once

installed Mandrake 7.2 and can't get system-wide PATH
definitions to work. I tried to use "csh.cshrc" as well as "csh.login"
(both of course found in "/etc') but nothing changed the "default"

Aaah - I think we have it now !!
In a 'normal' installation the network won't install without a network
card - you would probably have to manually add all of the components to
create a loopback. Easier to install a network card and try again.

When I ran netconf there was no 3c90x.o module available. When I went to my
modules directory, it was there. So I just did the following:
