I was assuming that the numbers 55, 60, 85, etc were frame rates, they are
actually vertical refresh rates, and another individual told me where to find
them.
In my home directory there is a .config subdirectory and therein is a file
monitors.xml
It has the vertical refresh rate. I put the

I still have a photo printer for that one reason, but rarely use it.

Is there any way to use nx to connect to the active session at the console of an
F10 wkst? If I walk away and leave it locked, I am hoping to connect to that

remotely?

I haven't done it, but I know the NX/FreeNX server can be put into a
mirroring mode, where it basically connects to a local VNC server to show

That sounds like fun. A bit difficult if you don't have the vinyl
cutting machine, but you run into the same problems with an ink jet.
I've not found any inkjet printable vinyl although I'm sure it exists

Even after I upgraded to F10, I'm still having problems and I have no idea
how to proceed. Most times when I print, I only get the top few inches of
the sheet. Afterwards, the job is still sitting in the queue and the hp
process is running off with half the cpu. Here's the process hierarchy:
