But Sherry, why don't you try to "educate" this vet about all the declawed

So true
UghIt is cruelty in the worst form!!
Ah, only a cat would have to put up with a choice
between amputation and being homeless.
www.catsinternational.org has excellent information on
how to train a cat. They've toned down their
article on declawing for some reason, but still make
some good points in it. Feline Future also has a
I know it can cause litterbox problems and could change their personalities.I also know that she doesn't declaw after a certain age too.I think it should be outlawed too.But I can't just start telling her what's right and whats wrong. She knows what the outcome from the declawing could be.I will

Thanks for the link, might be helpful in educating people. I think
the declawing should be outlawed too. We really don't get that many
people who ask for declawed cats in Arkansas, but there are some and
we always screen for that.

Wow I thought that was informative. thanks Michelle, The cat I took in

Hi Dawn,
I am sorry to hear that your Charlie has lymphoma. He
is so young (and so cute!). I hope that all your
questions get answered while caring for Charlie. The
people here are great. A lot of the information here
is just good general care information for kitties,
such as holistic care,

Sherry,I'm so sorry. But I am glad that Hardy got to go to a real home before he went to the bridge, even if it was for such a short time. I am sure he loved you for that. It's so sad that there are so many animals that don't have homes. :(tonyaSherry DeHaan [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:Hi
Sherry, I'm so sorry for your loss of your sweet Hardy, I know it's
hard. So many will be waiting at the bridge to show him the way -
including my Pansy, and Prissy, and Lancelot - and my Nicky who died
1 year ago. May you receive showers of blessings for your work with
the sick kitties.
