I had a kitty with severe anemia, and ordered the IR, but he was too far gone for it to work. He had a low body temp. so the IR was not for temp. for him. Cindy might be the one who uses the IR for temps for her kitty, Smokey, but I'm not sure. I hope his fever goes away soon! :) Wendy
