I had two rescued litters of 11 FelV positive kittens. All of them died
within 2 years except for one. He has been tested several times and he
remains negative. He is now 4 years old and very healthy.

I'm sorry for your losses. Kittens with felv have the least chances of making
it. Once they get over a year or two their chances greatly improve. I'm so
sorry.

took her to the vet and he felt she was in the last stages of FelV,
with little or no hope for recovery. She was 9 months old and only
weighed 3 and a half pounds.

It sounds like a congenital heart problem. Sure doesn't sound like anything
related to FeLV.

My Tiny died this way. He was pretty much asymptomatic. Other than initial
treatment he never required antibiotic or all the measures I too for Junior.
On Christmas day 2006 I knew he was not feeling good, but it was not such
that I would have taken him to a vet even if it was a regular day. I
