I had a kitty with uneven pupils, the vet felt it was a tumor but she also
had toxoplasmosis and I suspected that was what it was as it did seem they
normalized after treatment.She was feral, FIV+, toxo CRF, and did
great for 9 months with fluids and care, no further eye problems, we had to

vet said. He doesn't know what's causing the situation. We decided to
send out for a toxo titer, despite the lack of lesions when he looked
into her eye.
He also gave me some symptoms to watch for if this is actually

Not really sure. I'm hoping for mid-October, though that's getting
pretty close and I still haven't found a place. We'll see. I'd like to
move in first, then come back to retrieve Ember after things are
settled, so she doesn't have to endure the craziness of moving stuff
in and unpacking.
that sounds like a good plan. Hopefully you'll have figured out
what's going on with her now and will
have time to get her back on the DMG to give her immune system a
boost before the trip.
We're thinking of her, keep us posted.

Lance it is great to hear from you. I realized that you were MIA a
while ago and was hoping that Ember was ok.
I've not had experience with the pupil anomaly but MC's advise about
a vet check sounds right since her wbc
was low. She might be fighting an infection.
Also, Laurie's travel advice
you can request a private x-ray screening, too--they have separate rooms
with their own little machines, and you have to take the kitty out of the
carrier and let them make sure she's not carrying bombs strapped to her
waist (according to another member of this list, whose identiy i shall

Hey Lance, nice to hear from you. The only time I've had that happen
with the pupils being different sizes is with an FIV+ kitty, can't say
what caused it or what it related to.
Re air travel: The last time I flew with a cat in the cabin - which
was probably 2004 or thereabouts - was
