There other one is still going, actually. I tried it after leaving the
first one. The moderator was better, but some of the members are really mean and
I ended up leaving because they kept saying nasty things in response to
suggestions I made.

I'm in NJ. This is already the second vet in the area that I am trying. I
just made an appointment with a really good veterinary referral center for next
Friday, with an internist. Unfortunately it is over 1.5 hours away, and Lucy
hates hates hates the car, so I am stressed about it.
When I have upped her pred it was because she had bad diarrhea, but 10
mg/day of pred makes her bowels solid within a day or two. She only vomits
when relapsing, and only after eating grass. The pred stops it immediately. She
lost weight when she relapsed 2 months ago, about a pound, and
from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who
will deal likewise with their fellow
man.

Thanks. Yes, I asked for Budesonide, but my local vet has never used it and
will not give it to me. If I have to take her to the specialist that is on
my list of things to ask for, but she is so god-awful in the car and gets so
stressed out by it that I do not want to do the long car trip
When they do leukeran, it is usually combined with pred. I don't
think my local vet will ever prescribe leukeran for her. If it gets to that
point, we will probably need to go to the specialist.
