Dear Nina It's late at night but wanted you to know you and Grace are constantly in my thoughts. I hope Grace is having a reasonably comfortable night, and I hope that when the time comes, it's as sweet a parting as can possibly be.... having a compassionate and sensitive vet who allows you to have as much time together as you need and whom you trust to extend to Grace all the compassion, respect and sensitivity that every little soul deserves makes a world of difference. I know that's what you will do anyway, Nina. This is such a painful time for you and your husband and Grace, and I know we all wish there was something we could do to ease the hurt...words are so ineffectual at a time like this.
