Thanks to all those whom gave
vet time. If they're actually white, you're in a crisis situation, and your cat is severely anemic. That's life-threatening.Please go now.-Original Message-

Roxanne,
My heart goes out to you in your loss of Tiffany. Noelle will be
joining her in a few hours. Perhaps their spirits can comfort one another.

Thank you for writing to me, Amani.
I just wrote about my experience with blood donations, but I did want
to comment on the paragraph below. Sadly many clients who go to vet
clinics do not really love or care about cats other than their own.
They will pay huge vet
Hill's also has a canned named Recovery which is very good for syringe

Baby food is another option, just make sure it does not have onion or grlic in
it. It helped with a couple of my babies when they went off their food.

I have had many FelV cats. Most have died of anemia or other issues,
before reaching a year old. Others have had a long life and showed no
symptoms even tho they tested positive several times. I treat my FelV
cats as long as possible, but I will not do invasive painful
treatments on a FelV cat if

Hi Roxanne,
I just lost my 5-1/2 year old FeLV+ male cat - Tigger - however I do think
if I had gotten him on the Winstrol (Stanozolol) sooner, along with the
Prednisolone, he would have had a chance of making it longer. It turned his
bone marrow back on to producing blood cells, and I believe it
I would suggest considering Aranesp (Darbepoetin) over Epogen, but what is causing the anemia? Is she in kidney failure, or is it something else? What are her numbers, especially BUN, Creatnine, Phosphorus, WBC and especially her PCV?I have two cat that were diagnosed as FeLV+ more than 3 years
Bailey was diagnosed at 5 months of age and lived to be 11 years old,
his last 6 months were hard but the rest of the time he lived a
relatively normal healthy life. I hope Tiffany pulls through this.
Bailey was on epogen for the last 6 months and he did very well on it,
he had undiagnosed
Sorry that Tiffany isn’t doing well, so sad, and scary I know. Yes, they
can live awhile and some for a long time. I looked up Epogen (because I
never heard of it).
EPOGEN® is a prescription medicine used to treat a lower than normal number
of red blood cells (anemia) caused by chronic kidney

You may be new to this chatline, and so I will bore the rest of the
participants by repeating that my advice is that you immediately put Tiffany on
Winstrol (Stanazolol). It is an anabolic steroid. It helps to turn back on the
bone marrow to produce red cells, and eventually, white
