Subject: OT Thanksgiving
Hi Guys
Thanksgiving day was somewhat special for me. Maybe not.
They are so cute and adorable!
I know I would have felt the same way too seeing a box like that.
I think it was someone that knew of you.
Most likely knew you would help these precious baby kittens.
It's a crappy way to present this to you but probably afraid to show you
who they really were.
I agree, they shouldn't have forced you, but at least the hoomins cared
enough to leave them with somebody they knew would do right by the
kittens. So many don't.
The people next door asked us if we wanted their white kitty, who we
knew from talking to her through the screen window all
oh, heavens--my vet has said, and i've read, that 1/4 of a pepcid EVERY day
was the dosage.. sigh.

Mine, too.
1/4 of a 10 mg tablet per day is what I have written down.
I have never used and it would probably do the lower to be safe. Weight of the
cat might have some bearing on what I would do, too.

Hi Sally, can you capture the neighborhood boys and get them neutered? I figure
no one would know and it would stop the litters...or at least slow them down!

I have thought of that. But some of the cats come from a nearby farm only
see then when the females are in heat. I wish I knew who left these two
because I do not have mama. There is a clinic in town where she can be
spayed for $35.00. They will do shots as well but do not insist because

It is so frustrating when the person responsible does nothing to stop the
litters and people like us end up with the kittensI am dealing with one
here, now, but at least I think he'll have the mama spayed now (3 litters
later). She was a stray that he fed. He found homes for the

am not saying all youngsters are like that but the ones they have hired have

Hi MC,
Many vets do prescribe the 1/4 tab as a starting dose but if I read
that the starting dose is between a 1/8 and 1/4 tab, I always start with
the lower dose. My vet started Fred with a 1/8 dose back when he needed
it, since we've got his phosphorus down he hasn't needed it. Every
