My cat is 10 years old and has tested positive for FELV in the ELISA test but the IFA test was negative. So she has virus but it seems to be dormant. I noticed that she has blood on her anus and it was inflamed. So I took her to the vet and they did a biopsy of her anus as it was inflamed.

Marilyn, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it must be. I am curious though about what type of Felv test you had done. There is the Elisa test which is usually done in house and the IFA test which is done via a blood test at a lab and is supposed to be more accurate. I have
