Yes, that was a helpful article - thanks. Well, I found that my stray only had an ELISA test. I didn't take her to the cat rescue. I am going to have her re-tested in a few weeks - maybe it was a false positive!? On Sun, Jan 15, 2012 at 8:45 PM, Marcia Baronda marciabmar...@gmail.com wrote:

That is highly possible! If it is positive again, please do an IFA test to confirm. If it is positive, then it's in the bone marrow :( But in the meantime, let's think positive :))) L - Original Message - From: Shanda Robertson sha...@well.com To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org Sent:

If you can't mix and I understand your concerns, consider keeping the cats separated until you can find her a real home. The most loving cat I ever had rescued me when she came in from a pine thicket. She was FeLV+ and had a wonderful life. On Jan 15, 2012, at 5:27 AM, Sharyl wrote: You

Hi Shanda, I had a positive cat with 3 unvaccinated cats for a year. Of course I had no idea he was positive. When he became symptomatic I had him and my other 3 tested. The other 3 came back negative after being around him all that time. They slept together, shared food and water bowls and
