i have revision 12665 (last revision) on winxp sp2 and mingw\msys either cygwin.
the problems are:
1)nor configure niether make scripts works with cygwin (while works correctly

I noticed that a modification of libavutil does not trigger a rebuild of ffmpeg.
The attached patch adds libavutil to DEP_LIBS which fixes the problem.
Please apply unless the current behaviour is intended.
