Hmm, that's interesting.

If you NEVER use the Edit Lyrics window (nor Shift Lyrics) at all, I can
see how the jumbled data would make no difference to you -- since the core
problem is not either one per se but the disjunct between the two.

Even so, I would expect you to get in trouble any time you (1) mass-copy a
selection including lyrics and subsequently edit those lyrics; or (2)
delete notes with lyrics attached, insert new notes in the same position,
and add lyrics to the new notes.

But perhaps you never do any of those things?
